Can makeup cause aging?
Washing your face before going to sleep can help in preventing multiple problems.
What woman doesn’t loves to wear makeup? I know I do. It gives us that extra glam and confidence. But falling asleep with your makeup on is not a good habit to keep, I am guilty of falling asleep with mine on at times. We’re not perfect right! But skincare is an important step in preventing blemishes and aging.
If we think about what our day consist of and the many places we go, traveling to many different locations; work, school, and stores. Let’s not forget when we run into a friend/family memeber and they kiss you on the face. Hey we all been there. There are particles and bacteria all over the place. We walk in the store and someone may have been coughing, we don’t know and you walk right into that. Makeup is a magnet for bacteria and it sits on your face all day until you take it off. Not like that is already disgusting enough to think about but the fact that it sits there all day until we take it off, who wants to wash off the masterpiece you put on this morning and your day still isn’t over. We stay with the makeup on and then sleep with it, Yuck!. Bacteria and makeup, the makeup doesn’t allow our skin to breathe and can clog pores resulting in premature aging and pimples.
Pimples occur when dead skin cells and/or bacteria clog the pores. A pimple is a small infection in the pores. Makeup can dry out the skin and cause wrinkles and fine lines.
Importan reasons why we should take great care of our skin. We should wash our face at night with a good cleanser and follow it with a toner. Why take a chance and have to fight wrinkles and looking older. If we can do something about it, why not.
What is your favorite cleanser and toner?
