Christmas Decorating

A few simple tricks to decorate for the holidays.

Decorating for Christmas should be fun, include your love ones and make a night of it. Don’t make it a burden and think you need new decorations, use the ornaments you already have and to help fill in your tree if you have any garland or floral arrangements they work great in helping fill those empty spaces, there are no rules to decorating your tree. If you want a colorful tree, white tree, etc... the option is yours. It is your creation. Also don’t  be afraid to put ornaments close together, don’t be afraid to try something new with the ornaments you have.
I have two trees and have collected ornaments for years. So I used what I already had to decorate my trees. I wanted to create an all white tree and I had plenty of white ornaments and snowflakes. I purchased a large bag of  faux snow (roll of cotton).
Just cut the cotton into stripes and shape the way you desire.

My second tree is a peppermint tree. I just filled it in as much as I could. I would have loved to make it fuller but the store was out of the red and white ornaments I was looking for. So maybe better luck next year 😭.

A simple idea to help decorate your dining room and buffet tables.
You can add a poinsettia and a festive runner. You can also use garland and ornaments in the middle of the table. I had some vases on my buffet table and decided to fill them with some gold ornaments and pinecones I already had.

Simple tricks to help with other areas in the house.
Add red hand towels to the kitchen and bathroom. Already scented pinecones helps to bring a festive smell into your home. Make it smell like Christmas. Turn on candles that remind you of Christmas for me it is bath and body works marshmallow fireside.  I also like to use the glade plugins in the scent enchanted evergreen. It truly smells amazing. Use those  scents that remind you of the holidays.
Merry Christmas 🎄
